Layla turned 21 months on March 25th. Yes, I know, I have gotten a bit behind on the blog, only because she keeps me so busy though, having fun of course! Here are some of the events that happened in her 21st month of life.
We celebrated Uncle Dustin’s 18th Birthday at Benihana’s
We celebrated Ahta’s birthday. We had brunch at the Chart House, a little family celebration at home with Layla, and a Big Birthday Bowling Bash!
Layla slept through the entire beginning half of Nicole’s Birthday brunch at the Chart House!
Our little at home birthday celebration! We made Nicole what she wanted for dinner and had a little ice cream cake, which Layla enjoyed of course!!
Nicole’s Bowling Birthday Bash, complete with bowling pin cupcakes and “Bowling Alley” food, i.e.:Nachos with liquid cheese sauce, chili cheese dogs, chili cheese fries, of course killer onion dip and chicken wings! So fun and a great excuse to eat crap we never let ourselves eat!
Layla pooped in the potty for the first time on March 12th, wooohooo!
Here she is on the potty and yes, gross I know, but I had to take a picture of the first poop in the potty!!
March 13th we went to Carson’s Superhero Birthday party! Layla had a blast, she got a super hero cape, cake, and potato chips! How can life get any better than that?
March 17th St. Paddy’s Day 2010. For St. Paddy’s Day my play group hosted a little green themed St. Patrick’s day play date at Stage Coach Park! Layla loves going to the park and enjoyed the yummy all green treats, the slides, and running through the grass field. She even gave her little friend Madden some hugs! After the play date we had people over for corned beef and cabbage, and Guinness too!!
March 29th Sea Life Aquarium at Legoland with Arden! We were supposed to take Courtney and Arden to Play Werx but didn’t know they are closed on Mondays! SO, off we went to Sea Life, we love it there and it was fun to share it with “Cordy and Ardy!”
Sidewalk chalk is a new favorite at the Zavodny household Layla loves it and so do Mommy and Uncle! Uncle drew Sesame Street characters for Layla which she absolutely loved! He is so talented!
Her Own Sense of Style
Cowboy boots with khaki shorts! NICE!
She continues to amaze us everyday and treat us to the time of our lives!
